The Reluctant Technologist is a my personal website & blog.  It’s primarily about the use of technology in (higher) education.

I’m the the Head of Learning Technology at the University of West London, based within the ExPERT Academy.

I’ve worked in learning technology roles since 2001 at City University London,  LSE , London Metropolitan University & London Business School. Before that I was a TEFL teacher for 5 years, a ski bum, systems analyst and bank clerk. I have an MA ICT in Education from the Institute of Education (University of London).

I’m a member and former Trustee of the Association for Learning Technology (ALT) and a member of the Steering Group for the Heads of e-Learning Forum (HeLF).
